The employment direction of nursing majors is mainly to engage in nursing work in various types of medical institutions at all levels, including serving as nurses, caregivers, engaging in some medical administrative business,postgraduate nursing in asia or working in other medical technology departments.

At present, as the number of colleges and universities offering nursing majors continues to increase, and in addition, there have been more people waiting for employment in nursing majors over the years, the employment prospects of nursing majors are not as good as before.

On the one hand, the nursing major has a relatively broad training level and is relatively easy to train, resulting in an increasing number of people suitable for nursing work.

Therefore, the nurses in most hospitals are contract-based and have no establishment. Most of the nurses who have establishment are those who have been in the industry for a long time and have certain qualifications. Otherwise, most of them are without establishment.

This reflects the phenomenon of a surplus of nurses,entry level masters programme in nursing which is not unrelated to the overabundance of colleges and universities cultivating nursing majors.

In the early years, with the continuous improvement of medical standards, various places started to offer nursing majors. However, what was unexpected was that in just a few years, there would be a surplus of nurses.

Now when we go to any hospital, we will find that most of the female administrative staff who have established positions have been transferred from nursing positions, because the hospital also has a surplus of nurses.

On the other hand, the employment threshold for nurses is relatively low, which leads to worrying prospects for the development of the nursing profession.

From a hospital's perspective, the value it brings is the same whether it's recruiting a master's degree nursing graduate or a specialist nursing graduate.

Because the nursing work performed by nurses is the most basic link in the medical process, whether they have a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, a junior college degree, or a doctorate, as long as they have the corresponding hands-on ability, they can do this job well.
